Zhanhong Cui, Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor at Qinghai University, currently serves as Director of the key Laboratory of Animal Nutrition and Forage for Grazing Yak and Tibetan Sheep on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Station Chief of the Xining Comprehensive Experimental Station of the National Sheep Industry Technology System. His primary research focuses on the nutritional requirements and regulatory mechanisms of high-altitude ruminant livestock, as well as the development and utilization of forage resources. He has led 2 national-level projects and 16 provincial/ministerial-level projects, published over 140 papers, co-authored 2 academic monographs, established 6 local standards, obtained 2 invention patents, and received 20 Qinghai Provincial Scientific and Technological Achievement Awards. He has honored with the First Prize of the National Agricultural, Animal husbandry, and Fishery Harvest Award for Agricultural Technology Promotion (2nd contributor) and the Second Prize of the Qinghai Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (2nd contributor). Additionally, he has been selected as an Outstanding Discipline Leader in Natural Sciences and Engineering Technology by Qinghai Province, a Cultivated Leading Talent under the Qinghai “Kunlun Elite · High-End Innovation Talent Thousand Talents Plan”, and a Western Young Scholar under the Chinese Academy of Sciences “Western Light” Program.
